Have you seen Accountemps's Full Charge Bookkeeper position? The short-term temporary Full Charge Bookkeeper will work in Blaine, Minnesota. You will succeed in this position if you're confident you can establish and maintain the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives, as well as all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the preparation of financial statements.
What you get to do every single day
Carefully filing documents to preserve historical records
Ensuring correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year end close
Studying and implementing federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions
Overseeing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers
Assembling the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and income and cash flow statements
Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets
Performing reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, as well as payroll processing
Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections

Experience with payroll preferred
Proven knowledge of Full Charge Bookkeeping
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Well-founded grasp of Month-end Reports
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable of accrual and cash basis of accounting
Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
High school diploma or similar accreditation, and an AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business recommended
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
3+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping
Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
- Excel, QuickBooks, and Peachtree experience desired
Strong time management and organizational skills
