Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Bloomfield, Connecticut. In this role, you will be managing a variety of HR-related tasks in a fast-paced industry, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department and contributing to the attainment of specific goals of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of benefits in compliance with the established contracts.

• Processing and auditing of human resources activities, including background checks and management of HRMS.

• Utilization of ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to maintain accurate records and manage HR functions.

• Ensuring customer service excellence in all interactions and communications with staff and external stakeholders.

• Assisting the Chief Operating Officer in various tasks and projects.

• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Assisting in the monitoring and management of employee attendance records.

• Ensuring adherence to all policies and regulations, and staying updated on current employment laws and regulations.

• Utilizing ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient data transfer and communication.

• Performing additional duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

This role requires a broad range of skills, including a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in various HR-related software and systems. You will be working in a supportive team environment, and your contribution will significantly impact our operations and services. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a Human Resources Assistant

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian software

• Hands-on experience with HRMS and About Time software

• Demonstrable skills in auditing, conducting background checks, and managing benefit functions

• Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving attitude

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
