Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Bloomington, Minnesota
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of invoicing tasks, utilizing your knowledge of accounting software systems to efficiently manage accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process a large volume of invoices using accounting software systems.
• Ensure all approved invoices are correctly coded and entered into the system.
• Maintain and update vendor invoice records consistently.
• Handle accounting functions related to accounts payable and accrual accounting.
• Utilize D365 to manage and monitor customer accounts.
• Respond to and resolve any customer inquiries related to their account or invoices.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Utilize Excel for various accounting functions and tasks. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar role.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Familiarity with a variety of Accounting Functions.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles.
• Experience with D365 software is advantageous.
• Ability to appropriately Approved Invoices.
• Experience with Code Invoices and Enter Invoices.
• Proficient in Coding Invoices.
• Experience in handling High-Volume Invoicing.
• Proven ability to effectively Enter Vendor Invoices.
