The Financial Analyst will manage financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Your other duties will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations
Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)
Gather and oversee forecasting reports
Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations
Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources Requirements - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferential)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong familiarity with financial reporting
Annual Budget experience preferred
Analyze Financial Statements experience
2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
