Our High Tech client is hiring a Human Resource Generalist to come aboard their team. In this position, the HR Generalist will oversee a variety of tasks and assignments related to the daily support of operations in the HR department. Your responsibilities in this role
Provide support to various functional areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS. Coordinates and administers programs, policies and procedures including Leave of Absence and workers compensation programs to ensure consistency with policy and compliance with government regulations. First point of contact in answering employee questions.
Ensure employee benefit records are accurately maintained in DayForce
Coordinates on employee leave actions
·Distributes Employee Data Sheets reflecting changes to employee data
Administers insurance, FSA, HSA and retirement eligibility for all employees. Interfaces directly with Ceridian managed services and retirement record keeper on eligibility reporting requiring a working knowledge of vendors’ databases and process flows.
Answers inquiries for all benefit programs participants.
Provides input on content for employee benefit communications requiring knowledge of data entry processes, benefit procedure, compliance, and plan design
Provides benefit communication material to all locations to comply with ERISA, COBRA, and all locations to comply with contract requirements.
Assists with administering Well-Being programs. Schedules vendor visits and coordinates communication.
Assists in the implementation of compensation and benefits plans and programs which meet business needs and objectives.
Provides guidance to managers on compensation issues, programs and practices.
Recommends appropriate salary treatment and/or alternative reward systems and provides advice in developing incentive plans.
Administers recognition and reward programs
Administers tuition reimbursement program
Acts as resource on new hire onboarding
Acts as principal source of leave administration
Generates reports for various HR programs
Prepares analytical reports as required

· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent,
· 3-5 years of progressively more complex assignments in HR.
· Exposure and experience in varied and broad areas of HR including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, legal compliance and program development.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
· DAYFORCE experience preferred.
· Ability to determine priority of work necessary to meet required deadlines.
· Capable of independent decision making and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
