Description

Robert Half is partnering with a Well-Known Company, and sourcing for a Senior Claims Manager. You will be tasked with handling various claims and conducting investigations in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Handle auto, general, and liability claims against the company

• Lead investigations and gather facts for the purpose of determining liability

• Verify damages allegedly suffered by third-parties through proper investigation

• Develop action plans for the resolution of product liability claims

• Pursue recovery from liable third-parties effectively

• Utilize jurisdictional requirements knowledge to implement strategies for early and cost-effective resolution

• Negotiate resolution of product liability claims effectively

• Prepare correspondence and settlement agreements related to the handling of product liability claims

• Maintain conduct in a manner consistent with company mission, values, and policies.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal support role within the retail industry

• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat and various legal software

• Experience with case management software is a must

• Ability to assist customers in a detail oriented and courteous manner

• Familiarity with billing functions within a legal context

• Proven experience in claim administration and claims processing

• Knowledge of property damage claim procedures

• Understanding of liability issues and their resolution

• Experience in negotiating settlements and drafting settlement agreements

• Familiarity with settlements, settlement statements, and settlement processes

• Experience handling auto claims with a strong understanding of auto liability

• Knowledge of auto insurance and general insurance claims procedures
