Robert Half Payroll Processor in Bloomington, Minnesota
Our Bloomington, MN client has an upcoming need for an interim Payroll Specialist to join their team to cover for a person going out on medical leave. This role will function as a Payroll Specialist on a team of two, so prior payroll experience is a must. Specific duties include:
Process payroll in a multi-state environment for approximately 250 employees
Manage weekly payroll for hourly employees and biweekly payroll for corporate employees
Audit payroll time entries for completeness and accuracy
Receive and process garnishment requests
Answer payroll questions from internal staff via phone and email
Various other projects as directed by HR Manager
3+ years of demonstrated payroll processing experience
Solid understanding of multi-state, multi-cycle payroll
Prior experience with ADP, Ceridian, Ultimate, Workday or a similar well known product is required
Associates Degree in Business preferred, but not required
