Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in BLUE ASH, Ohio. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and wire transfers. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and payments.
• Oversee expense management across all departments, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Prepare and present financial reports, providing relevant insights to aid decision making.
• Perform reconciliations of account balances to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Process and record wire transfers, ensuring secure and timely transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining accuracy of the company's financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP in all accounting practices.
• Manage the full month end cycle close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Leverage skills in Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, Reconciliations, Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Wire Transfer, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks effectively. Requirements • Possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiar with General Ledger operations and maintenance
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation procedures
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrable understanding of Reconciliations in general
• Solid grasp of Accounting Principles
• Proficient in Financial Reporting tasks
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Wire Transfer operations
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks
