Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to fill the role of PART TIME Full Charge Bookkeeper in BLUE ASH, Ohio, 45242-5509, United States. This role is a crucial part of our finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate bookkeeping and account reconciliation for our organization. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity primarily for 3-5 DAYS PER MONTH FOR MONTH END CLOSE.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Perform billing functions and follow up on outstanding payments
• Conduct month-end close duties to finalize financial transactions for the month
• Manage account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Utilize Sage software for various accounting tasks (desirable but not necessarily required)
• Ensure all financial data is prepared and processed in adherence to the company's financial policies and guidelines
• Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities in financial entries, documents, and reports
• Work closely with the CFO service for any financial-related tasks and inquiries
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to the company's data privacy guidelines.
Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Competency in Account Reconciliation
• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be advantageous.
