Description This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests Requirements - Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Bank reconciliations experience
Experience with reconciliations
General ledger experience preferred
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Practical knowledge of wire transfer
Well-founded grasp of financial reporting
Deep understanding of account reconciliation
Proven knowledge of Accounting Principles
Quality experience with Microsoft Excel
General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
ERP system experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
