Description

In this Financial Analyst position, you will be tasked with measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans and conducting financial modeling on a wide range of financial products. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. This Financial Analyst role, which is a permanent employment opportunity, is located in the Greater Philadelphia area.
How you will make an impact:
Create and maintain financial models and reporting, providing accurate and timely data for decision making
Analyze metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations
Assist with the creation and maintenance of proforma financial statement models
Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to financial planning
Conduct variance analysis, investigating and explaining differences between actual, forecasted, and budgeted results
Ensure the maintenance of appropriate internal controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Perform financial analysis to identify areas for process improvement and enhanced financial performance
Collaborate across functions as a business partner, guiding data-driven decision making
Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reporting for the finance team
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, including involvement in cross-functional special projects and ad-hoc modeling.
Requirements
The ideal Financial Analyst candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in systems, finance or accounting strongly preferred.
Other requirements for the Financial Analyst position include and are not limited to:
3+ years relevant experience in finance or FP& A function
Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution industry preferred
Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP and Power BI preferred
Outstanding communications, analytical, planning, data gathering, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills to achieve company goals
