Robert Half General Liability Attorney/Lawyer in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half is seeking a General Liability Attorney for a long term contract with our client in Blue Bell, PA. This role will involve supporting our general liability team, with a specific emphasis on premise and auto claim insurance litigation. You will be integral in drafting motions, conducting legal research, and managing cases using various legal software. This is a hybrid role; primarily onsite in Blue Bell during training then primarily remote.

Responsibilities:

• Support the general liability team in resolving premise and auto claim insurance litigation cases

• Ensure accurate billing of hours and capture of time for all tasks performed

• Utilize strong research and writing skills to prepare comprehensive legal reports

• Attend depositions for coverage and take detailed notes to prepare reports under partner oversight

• Draft motions and briefs with precision and attention to detail

• Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and inform team strategy

• Utilize case management software for efficient handling and tracking of cases

• Leverage skills in legal software and LexisNexis for case management and research

• Handle general litigation tasks as required, adapting to diverse case backgrounds

• Use effective complaint handling and documentation skills to resolve customer issues efficiently

Requirements

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be active and in good standing with PA bar.

• Proficiency in briefing, civil litigation, claim administration, complaint handling, and documentation.

• Knowledge of premises liability, auto claim, and insurance law is essential.

• Must have excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Must demonstrate strong ethical standards and integrity.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and staff.

• Should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
