Description Robert Half is working with growing business to find a talented Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department.   • Take part in interdepartmental meetings with other managers

  • Teach employees such that they follow all policies and procedures

  • Head up human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

  • Build management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  • Lead all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

  • Maintain and deploy applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings

  • Lead and define exit interviews and procedures

  • Grow the organization's Human Resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Analyze reports provided by the Human Resources team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs

  • Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits

  • Catalog historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records Requirements - PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired

    • Knowledge of HR software and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    • Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards

    • 5+ years in human resources

    • A familiarity with the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations

    • Knowledgeable in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

    • 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

    • Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

    • Ability to view issues with impartiality

    • Extensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

    • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
