Robert Half Financial Analyst in Bluffton, South Carolina
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst based in Bluffton, South Carolina. The role primarily involves analyzing and assimilating financial data into useful management tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the divisional business plan process, overseeing project profitability, and providing financial advice to managers.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the divisional business plan process to ensure quality, accuracy, and analytical review.
• Compile departmental budgets into the appropriate format.
• Oversee project profitability spanning the life of a project.
• Equip management with profitability analysis and reporting, including actual to enable informed decision-making.
• Identify problem areas, evaluate, recommend, and implement alternative solutions.
• Provide accounting support in addition to managing special projects.
• Assist with month-end closing and analysis of results.
• Prepare various reports and analyses required by Corporate.
• Provide financial advice to managers.
• Use skills such as 'Budget Processes', 'Analyze Financial Statements', 'Pro Forma Financial Statements', 'Return on Investment' among others in your daily tasks. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Financial Analyst
• Proficient in Budget Processes
• Familiarity with Land Acquisition for Residential Development
• Proficiency in using VLOOKUP in Excel
• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements
• Experience in creating Pro Forma Financial Statements
• Understanding of Return on Investment calculations
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
