Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Boca Raton, Florida

Description

We are in need of an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. The individual will be tasked with overseeing all accounting functions, reviewing financial statements, and enhancing internal efficiencies among other duties. This role is crucial to maintaining our financial health and making sure all accounting activities are conducted accurately and according to legal standards.

Our client is a growing and successful Real Estate Firm located in the heart of Boca Raton, vertically integrated, specializing in luxury multifamily residential and commercial property management development and investments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions prepared by third parties

• Review monthly financial statements and analyze property performance

• Assist with year-end audit and tax engagements

• Streamline policies and procedures to enhance internal efficiencies

• Oversee Partnership Accounting which includes review and understanding of partnership agreements, waterfalls, fees, capital calls and cash flow distributions

• Oversee financial reporting to owners, investors and partners on a monthly and quarterly basis

• Manage and oversee treasury functions including cash management and forecasting

• Interface with senior management on special projects as needed

• Utilize knowledge of accounting software systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions, and Multifamily Properties.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Demonstrated experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven track record in Auditing

• Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively

• Experience in managing finances for Multifamily Properties.
