Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Boca Raton, Florida

Description Our client is searching for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their company. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation and audit. The clerical staff will address any concerns to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. Self-driven and organized accounting professionals might be interested in this Bookkeeper role if they thrive under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Boca Raton, Florida area.

How you will make an impact

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Direct monthly accounting close

  • Outline business license and gross receipts

  • Develop monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Provide cash flow projections, as needed

  • Accounts Payable

  • Extra unique tasks if required

  • Register budget transfers

  • Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Capable in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc. Requirements - Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

    • 3+ years of related experience- Great attention to detail
  • Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Quickbooks Premier experience

  • Experience with Quickbooks ProAdvisor

  • Adeptness in Accounts Payable (AP)

  • QuickBooks experience

  • Expertise in Quickbooks Online

  • QuickBooks Pro experience preferred

  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
