Robert Half Property Accountant in Boca Raton, Florida
Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Property Accountant to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role involves managing accounting functions for our properties, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and providing financial insights for decision making. This role is best suited for individuals with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, who are comfortable using various accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize accounting software systems to record and process financial transactions related to our properties
• Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded
• Use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• Oversee budget processes, ensuring all expenses are within budget and identifying any discrepancies
• Monitor and manage cash activity for each property, ensuring all transactions are accounted for
• Provide accurate financial reports to management for review and decision making
• Use ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll and other financial services
• Manage CapEx, ensuring all capital expenditures are accurately recorded and reported
• Assist in auditing processes, providing necessary data and reports to auditors
• Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring they are accurate and complete at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in various accounting software systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Capacity to perform CapEx related tasks
• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of basic accounting functions
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of budget processes
• Ability to manage and track cash activity
