Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lease accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience with reading contracts and ensuring that systems are calculating rent correctly. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of lease accounting tasks, including:
Preparing lease accounting entries
Reconciling lease accounts
Preparing lease disclosures
Reviewing lease contracts
Ensuring that lease systems are calculating rent correctly
The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for providing technical support to other members of the accounting team and assisting with the development of lease accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
5+ years of experience in lease accounting
Strong understanding of lease accounting principles and procedures
Experience with reading contracts
Experience with lease systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
