Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Boise, Idaho
Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to be part of our team located in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and processing payments, reconciling account balances, and providing key support to our accounting and finance teams.
Responsibilities:
• Execute 3 way matching for accurate processing of payments
• Prepare and process payments in a timely and precise manner
• Review and verify purchase orders, invoices, and statements needed for payments
• Maintain and set up internal customer accounts (payables)
• Collaborate with vendors and internal personnel to resolve account processing issues
• Reconcile bills and account balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Provide support to the Accounting Manager and Finance team for inquiries, projects, and supporting documentation
• Work with the Accounting Manager for appropriate vendor credit lines
• Balance various ledger accounts as assigned
• Utilize software programs such as Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing. Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory
• Proven ability in Account Reconciliation
• Prior experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with Invoice Processing procedures
• Knowledge of 3 Way Matching in invoice processing
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
