Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Boise, Idaho
Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialists to assist our local clients on a contract basis. The perfect candidate will have excellent financial record-keeping abilities. Your important role will be assisting the finance department by accurately tracking invoices and expense reports.
Job Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices and expense reports, and control expenses by receiving, processing, and reconciling payments.
Set up new vendors, handle vendor queries, and maintain existing vendor relationships.
Ensure accurate and timely payment of all invoices, following the company's set policies.
Prepare and schedule payments through electronic transfers and check runs.
Reconcile AP transactions with the vendor statements.
Maintain historical records and accurate filing systems.
Assist in the month-end and financial audits.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AP software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and experience in general ledger postings and reconciliations.
