Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Boise, Idaho

Description As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and preparing all invoices on a daily basis and for maintaining accurate records of all billing information. This requires precision, excellent organization skills, and a strong aptitude for numbers. Responsibilities: Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data Preparing bills and invoices for payments. Reconciling the accounts payable ledger. Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices/receipts. Liaise with internal and external clients. Requirements Qualifications: Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software. Specific knowledge of legislation in the area of Accounts payable. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
