Robert Half Benefits Coordinator in Boise, Idaho

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator to join a local client's Human Resources team. The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs, providing support to employees regarding benefits inquiries, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

  • Coordinate open enrollment periods, including communication with employees, distribution of materials, and processing of enrollment forms.

  • Process new hire enrollments and changes to existing benefits elections accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits participation, including enrollment data and employee contributions.

  • Assist employees with understanding their benefits options, including eligibility requirements, coverage details, and enrollment procedures.

  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, benefit providers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and ensure accurate administration of benefits plans.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to employee benefits administration.

  • Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications to employees, including informational materials, notices, and updates.

  • Participate in benefits-related projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, process improvements, and compliance audits.

  • Provide support to HR team members on other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.

  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to employees.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer service-oriented approach.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
