Robert Half HR Generalist in Boise, Idaho

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers as needed.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS database entries.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Handle other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
