Description

We are looking for a Tax Preparer to join our team located in BOISE, Idaho, 83704-6162, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing form 1099, utilizing accounting software systems, and providing excellent customer service. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity in a CPA Firm starting mid December through Mid February.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare form 1099 for clients

• Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and processing

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

• Utilize intermediate excel skills for data analysis and reporting

• Ensure accurate accounting functions and calculations of allowances and deductibles

• Monitor and maintain customer accounts, taking appropriate actions as required

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and transactions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required to manage and streamline financial data.

• Experience with a tax prep software

• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions is necessary for comprehensive financial management.

• Data Entry skills are required to input and manage financial information accurately.

• Knowledge of Deductibles is necessary to properly advise clients on tax reductions.

• Experience in handling Form 1099 is needed for processing specific types of income.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed for efficient data management and analysis.
