Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is instrumental in the hospitality industry, focusing on continuous leadership and guidance in matters relating to the financial operation of the establishment. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining and auditing all accounting records related to the property, and overseeing internal control procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Financial Controller in providing continuous leadership and guidance in financial operations

• Prepare timely financial report and billing to owners

• Maintain and audit all accounting records related to the property

• Collect and follow up on delinquent accounts, ensuring efficient Financial Operations

• Oversee internal control procedures designed to safeguard owners/investors' assets

• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local regulations and governing documents of the Condominium Agreement and Association

• Handle staffing, training, scheduling of employees

• Plan, organize, direct and coordinate inter and intra department activities

• Use various Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions efficiently

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform regular auditing and budget processes Requirements

Requirements:

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management.

• Two to five years plus of Assistant Controller/Controller Experience in Hospitality Accounting operations. Would consider and Accounting Manager or Strong Senior with relevant industry experience taking a step up!

• Proficiency in all Windows Based Applications.

• Strong proficiency in Excel.

• Excellent prioritization skills.

• Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
