Description Our client's defense litigation firm is seeking an Associate Counsel to join our team of skilled professionals. The successful candidate will assist managing partners with caseloads, managing cases from inception to completion. This post requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in hearings, depositions, and working cases in various stages. Though you will be working with partners on several matters, you will also be expected to take ownership of non-complex cases.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Managing Partner in various legal assignments and directly report to them.
To manage a variety of cases from its inception to completion.
Participate in defense litigation utilizing solid legal expertise and perspectives.
Perform various legal activities including hearings, depositions, and other tasks related to the defense work.
Take full responsibility for non-complex cases and ensure a successful outcome.
Prepare and draft various legal documents, summaries, and reports.
Assist in research work and provide legal insights and recommendations on different legal matters.
Stay updated with current laws, recent judgments, and be aware of any amendments in the law.
