Our client, a global investment management organization, is looking for a qualified and experienced Accounting/Finance/Auditor to join their team. Working closely with the CFO, investment, and financial leadership, this role involves oversight of the valuation, accounting, and reporting of the private equity investments. Key responsibilities:
Work with finance teams for monthly accounting period closes and analysis of investment valuations
Collaborate closely with investment and legal teams during deal closes to support portfolio investments
Performing technical analysis and research on portfolio matters
Contributing towards a strong internal control environment
Championing the development of new technology-based solutions
Offering a value-added/ efficiency approach to all tasks and projects
Requirements
Qualifications:
BS in Accounting or Finance
CPA license preferred, CFA a plus but not mandatory
5-8 years experience
Public audit and industry (private equity, hedge or venture capital industries a must)
Strong understanding of the investment industry, particularly PE structures, valuation issues, and financial reporting matters
Proficient with technology, particularly advanced Excel skills
