Robert Half Attorney - Contracts Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal Contract Manager to join our clients legal team. This role primarily involves managing and facilitating the drafting, review, and negotiation of biotech clinical trial agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of legal principles within the biotechnology and clinical research industry.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams to draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, and related documents.
Ensure that contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and guidelines.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the biotech industry, clinical trial processes, and relevant legal frameworks.
Coordinate communication and negotiations with external partners, including research institutions, contract research organizations (CROs), academic institutions, and vendors.
Participate in contract meetings and discussions to provide legal insights and assist in resolving contract-related issues.
Track contract status, update internal databases, and manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and closure.
Assist in the development and improvement of contract templates, guidelines, and best practices for biotech clinical trial agreements.
Perform legal research to support contract interpretation, compliance, and risk assessment.
Provide timely and accurate contract-related reports and updates to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with legal team members on various projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements - First-rate academic credentials and references
Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Contracts
Experience with Negotiate Contracts
Strong familiarity with Draft Contracts
Legal Contracts experience preferred
Contracts experience
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Licensed attorney
