Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst in the Professional Services industry. This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and involves a significant focus on data analysis, business requirement gathering, and report/dashboard development to support our various business groups.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with various teams including claims, underwriting, finance, and client-facing business groups to gather requirements and understand objectives.

• Define key metrics and envision the future state of reports and dashboards.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing data sources, systems, and processes to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities.

• Formulate and define system scope and objectives that align with business needs.

• Prepare detailed specifications and wireframes/mockups for engineers to aid in the development of solutions.

• Ensure technical design and implementation meet business and systems requirements and align with enterprise goals and objectives.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing, resolve issues, and track future enhancements.

• Utilize BI tools such as Power BI, or similar, to transform data into actionable insights.

• Employ strong system analysis & technical skills in daily tasks.

• Use tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and others to manage project life cycle and SDLC.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and create user documentation as necessary.

This role offers a temporary employment opportunity. Candidates must possess skills including but not limited to SQL Queries, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and full SDLC. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Power BI, and SQL Queries

• Extensive experience in Business Systems analysis and Design

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and Full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes

• Ability to create and interpret diagrams in the context of business system design

• Knowledge in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling techniques

• Experience in conducting Stakeholder meetings and ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization

• Ability to write clear and concise User Documentation

• Experience in creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents

• Proficiency in AB Testing for system design improvements

• Experience in using JIRA for project tracking and management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
