Robert Half is Seeking a Senior Video Analyst

Position Summary: The Video Analyst will work to support client digital channels focused on the web and email to analyze and interpret data trends & communicate effective insights to business stakeholders & executives. This position will work closely with executive management and should effectively communicate data trends in a business language with recommended actions to improve key KPI’s based on customer behavior. This analyst needs to be detail oriented and work toward becoming a Subject Mater Expert on client Video data.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform adhoc analysis and drive insights and recommendations to support Video channel growth

  • Analyze Web/Email statistics to understand best video content and positioning

  • Create & maintain reporting dashboards for Video KPIs

  • Identify & raise gaps in tagging/tracking of website behavior

  • Work with data teams to create projects to bring in new data points for analysis and reporting

  • Writing relational and multidimensional database queries

  • Development and maintenance of the database stored procedures, views and functions

  • Design and develop data table structures, forms, reports, and queries for Analytics.

  • Work with (Business Intelligence) BI and (Data Warehouse) DW to transition solutions from prototype development to Production

  • Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting Analytics/BI solutions

  • Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions

  • Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements

  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

  • Data Validation

Experience & Job Requirements

  • Required: 3-5 years of experience with SQL

  • Required: 3-5 years of experience with Tableau BI and Analytics tools

  • Experience analyzing video performance on websites

  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle preferred)

  • Job Scheduling and IT Automation Tools (ActiveBatch preferred)

  • Experience with BI and Analytics tools (Tableau preferred)

  • Strong use and knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivots, calculations, etc.)

  • Proven ability to report out on findings

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, multitasked environment

  • Detailed and process oriented. The position requires an excellent grasp of oftenchanging details

  • Bachelor’s degree required
