Robert Half Data Reporting Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in the amusement and recreation services/entertainment industry, located in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you'll be pivotal in managing and analyzing large datasets, utilizing your knowledge of data warehouse environments, and ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
• Employ SQL for querying and manipulating extensive datasets, with a preference for PostgreSQL.
• Utilize business intelligence reporting tools such as Tableau to enhance data understanding and decision-making.
• Monitor ticket inventory management solutions like TM Archtics to maintain optimal stock levels and customer satisfaction.
• Navigate through CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics to manage customer relations effectively.
• Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive and actionable insights.
• Leverage programming languages like Python and/or R for advanced data analysis and automation.
• Understand the dynamics of primary vs. secondary ticketing markets to maximize ticket sales and revenue.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create presentations, reports, and manage data effectively.
• Use Apache Spark, Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects Technologies, Erwin Data, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Analytics, and Business Intelligence (BI) to enhance business operations and decision making.
• Create and manage Business Requirement Documents to ensure alignment of business goals and technical solutions. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Reporting Analyst or in a similar role in the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry.
• Proficient knowledge of Apache Spark is required.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira is a must.
• The candidate should be adept with BusinessObjects Technologies.
• Familiarity with Erwin Data is expected.
• The candidate should be capable of performing Gap Analysis.
• Experience with AB Testing is desirable.
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in Analytics is required.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is essential.
