Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the field of IT support, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role of a Desktop Support Analyst is essential to our team, where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical assistance for a variety of software applications and computer hardware, including Dell and Apple devices.
• Handle all aspects of Service Desk/Help Desk Support, ensuring a smooth workflow in a Windows environment.
• Utilize imaging tools such as SCCM, KACE, Intune, etc., for imaging Windows machines, including both laptops and desktops.
• Regularly deploy Windows patches or security fixes to maintain system integrity.
• Offer support for video conference tools like Zoom, Teams, and WebEx to facilitate effective communication.
• Manage customer inquiries, applications, and accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service.
• Engage in configuration management and backup technologies to prevent data loss.
• Extend support for Android development.
• Gain exposure to other areas of IT, including back-end server work, networking, mobile devices, and security, to enhance your skill set.
• Participate in projects outside your main area of work, demonstrating a proactive approach and eagerness to learn.
• Work collaboratively with the team, reporting directly to the manager, and possibly interacting with other team members. Requirements • Position: Desktop Support Analyst
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Android Development
• Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot Computer Hardware issues
• Experience with Dell Technologies
• Proficient in using Active Directory
• Experience with Apple Devices
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies
