Description
Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for an Events Manager for a 5+ month contract in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid, 37.5-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing and able to work onsite in Boston 3 days per week. The Events Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of a variety of tradeshows, meetings, webinars, and related events. They will also be responsible for:
Overseeing all logistics, vendors, budgets, scheduling, etc.
Managing pre- and post-event coordination
Assist with marketing and production needs
Ensure events meet required goals
Analyze success and opportunities for future optimization
Must have 3+ years of event management experience and have excellent project management skills. If interested and available, apply today!
Requirements
Degree in marketing, communications, management, or similar
3+ years of event management experience
Prior corporate, tradeshow, and webinar event execution preferred
Strong project management skills
CMP designation a plus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work some nights and weekends
Some travel required
Detail-oriented
Knowledge of event marketing best practices
