Robert Half Financial Associate – Partner Services in Boston, Massachusetts

Description This Financial Analyst role via Robert Half may be a great fit for candidates with excellent communication skills and prior experience in finance. An employment opportunity has become available at a Financial Services company with a growing team. Daily functions will consist of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role is located in the Boston, Massachusetts, and it is a permanent employment opportunity. Key responsibilities

  • Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting

  • Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks

  • Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary

  • Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

  • Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team

  • Complete and direct forecasting reports

  • Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations

  • Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to see the proper execution of plans

  • The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations Requirements - Strong problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of financial reporting

  • Experience with Financial Services

  • Deep understanding of Financial compliance

  • Recommend Improvements experience preferred

  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance

  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience a plus)

  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

  • 1+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

  • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
