Robert Half Financial Reporting Analyst Advanced (>6 years) in Boston, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a contract for a Financial Reporting Analyst Advanced position in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be involved in the creation and review of annual and quarterly financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and other financial reporting requirements. You will also be responsible for interacting with other functional areas and service providers to gather and assess financial information.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and Lux GAAP
• Collaborate with external auditors and clients to address any issues arising during reporting cycles
• Manage the workflow of financial reporting and audit cycles effectively
• Assist in the implementation and compliance with new and proposed accounting and reporting standards
• Coordinate with other functional areas and service providers to obtain necessary financial reporting information
• Draft financial statement footnotes as necessary
• Conduct account reconciliations in complex areas of accounting
• Use Microsoft applications to process and analyze financial data
• Assist in the preparation of required supporting schedules and documents for financial reporting
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP Accounting, IFRS Accounting, and US GAAP to ensure compliance in financial reporting. Requirements • Demonstrable expertise in financial reporting with a minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in creating, reviewing, and auditing financial statements.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with GAAP Accounting and US GAAP.
• Demonstrable experience in account reconciliation.
• Proven experience in planning and implementing accounting functions.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite for financial reporting and planning.
• Strong experience in compliance with regulations related to financial reporting.
• Experience in liaising with service providers to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Familiarity with financial audits, both internal and external.
• Understanding and experience of IFRS Accounting.
• Experience in preparing supporting schedules for financial statements.
• Knowledge of regulations by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
• Ability to perform administrative tasks such as photocopying and scanning documents.
