Robert Half Financial Reporting Associate in Boston, Massachusetts
Financial Reporting Associate is needed for a major financial project in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The Financial Reporting Associate will be working a short-term contract, hybrid role with flexibility on possibly with the Fortune 500 company in Boston. MA. The Financial Reporting Associate will be responsible for the overall management, staffing, organization, and development of a team. The Financial Reporting Associates will be responsible for identifying complex fund issues and managing the delivery of services to clients, including meeting all regulatory deadlines. Robert Half is seeking for independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations.
The Financial Reporting Associate Daily Task:
Continuously build and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members, as well as with other J.P. Morgan teams and client
Consistently demonstrate best-in-class client service
Address and effect change with respect to client behavior issue
Review and deliver client-specific reporting
Review and deliver regulatory reporting, such as financial statements and regulatory reports
Develop and implement internal project plan for fund and client events
Develop and implement production calendar for financial reporting cycles
Act as liaison between client and external vendors (e.g., printer)
Proficient using Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
8+ years of Financial Reporting, Fund Administration, Accounting and/or Custody experience, preferred
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Advanced analytical, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills
Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail
Problem solving / issue resolution skills
Control focus with an understanding of operational risk
Knowledge of business processes, procedures, and systems including downstream impacts
Exposure to derivatives accounting and reporting
