Description
Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a Tradeshow & Event Floor Plan Designer for a 2+ month contract in the Greater Boston area. This is a remote, 30 - 40 hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing and able to work eastern (ET) hours. The Floor Plan Designer will be responsible for creating 2D floor plans in accordance with client specifications, collaborate with internal/external vendors, and support facility operations. They will also create operational plans within AutoCAD and Expocad, maintaining operational standards. Interested candidates should be able to share a portfolio of relevant design/floor plan samples. Must have 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or similar relevant platforms. Knowledge of ExpoCAD and tradeshows is a bonus. If interested and available, apply today!
Requirements
Degree in design, architecture, or similar
3+ years of relevant experience
Experience using AutoCAD or similar platform
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat/Creative Suite
Tradeshow/event floor plan design experience is preferred
Knowledge of Revit is a plus
Self-starter
Detail-oriented
Portfolio of relevant samples
Excellent project management skills
