Description
Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking an Associate Labor and Employment Attorney for their Boston client. Amazing firm and environment for the right candidates, multiple openings. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in representing employers in a wide array of labor and employment matters. This includes litigation related to wages and hours, discrimination, or non-compete cases before courts and administrative agencies. Additional areas of expertise should include HR-related counseling, creating employment policies and agreements, conducting investigations and training, and dealing with transactional and due diligence matters.
Requirements
Job Skills and Abilities: The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of practice, possess robust knowledge in labor and employment matters, and preferably have some experience with labor relations like collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, and addressing unfair labor practices. The prospective candidate will be managing cases independently and have an opportunity to improve career prospects via one-on-one work with partners and direct contact with clients.
Responsibilities: Apart from the skills listed, the associate will be expected to liaise directly with clients - including major corporations like [Name Redacted]. The professional will also handle municipal and unemployment law cases and provide legal counsel to educational institutions.
