Robert Half Payroll Clerk in Boston, Massachusetts


Our client in the Healthcare industry is seeking a Payroll Clerk. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills. This is your opportunity to shine at an established firm!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data

  • Promote employee confidence by protecting payroll operations and keeping information confidential

  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state regulations

  • Handle payroll discrepancies through information collection and analysis

  • Reconcile issues related to employee deductions and other liabilities

  • Continue implementation of established policies and procedures to maintain payroll operations, reporting changes where necessary

  • Other tasks as necessary


  • Prior experience working with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

  • Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

  • Proficient knowledge of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

  • Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
