The successful Business Management Project Manager will support the President and the Vice President of Sales in the development of quality client proposals for training and development solutions built to educate salesforce employees in the life science industry.
The priorities of the perspective clients are top of mind. Tasks include planning, scheduling, resource management, client focus, and tracking of proposal milestones using Project Management best practices.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Ensure flawless proposal project execution including planning, scheduling and follow-up on milestones and deliverables.
Sourcing and coordination of content provider resources (writers, editors, graphic designers, medical experts, learning technology)
Drive a culture of urgency by anticipating and planning for obstacles, meeting tight timeline requirements, and achievement of defined milestones.
Utilize project management methodologies and the use of PM tools.
Communicate with impact, follow-up on milestones, writing E mails and other correspondence, verification of accuracy on documents and proposal related deliverables, etc.
Collaborate with peers, expert partners, and outside resources on simultaneous deliverables
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred
Minimum of 4 years’ project management managing focused on the creation of proposals
Skilled in utilizing project management methodology.
Knowledge regarding the development of learning solutions and curriculum development is valued.
Familiarity working with training and development departments in the life/science/pharma business is appreciated
Competent in office acumen, including Outlook, the Outlook calendar functions, scheduling, Zoom, and MS Project
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including comprehensive fluency in Word and Excel, and PowerPoint
Effectiveness under pressure in a time-sensitive environment, with demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and details.
Assertive, self-driven team player, with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and experience in providing client care.
Impeccable attention to detail, and ability to maximize productivity through stellar organization skills.
Self-starter with initiative, able to accomplish work independently, problem solver, and a dedication to quality.
