Our client, an established and prominent non-profit organization, is seeking a Vice President Accounting/Finance to oversee the Accounting and Reporting functions of the organization. The organization is very stable. Their mission is helping out the most in need.
Summary of Position:
The Vice President, Finance will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be a member of the Finance Leadership Team. Primary responsibilities include oversight of the company's day to day financial and accounting operations (Team of 7+) as well as providing the accounting for endowment/asset management activities.
The successful candidate will possess outstanding accounting acumen, management, communication (verbal and written), and collaborative skills with the ability to apply these skills within a complex and fast paced organization.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
10+ years of accounting experience
CPA and/or Public Accounting experience prior to industry.
Prior managerial / mentoring experience a must.
Very competitive salary up to low 200s. Excellent benefits package included.
