Litigation Attorney

Our client, a prestigious and long standing Boulder law firm is looking for a 2 plus year's Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic and busy education/school law practice. The litigation attorney will represent the school clients in a variety of contested matters, such as agency investigations, administrative hearings, state and federal court proceedings, and charter school appeals. This position requires exceptional writing and oral advocacy. Experience with education related litigation, including litigation involving students with disabilities, civil and constitutional rights, and charter schools is preferred but not required. The successful Litigation Attorney will have 2 plus years of experience in discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, interfacing with clients and opposing counsel, and excellent research, writing and communication skills. Requirements

  • First-rate academic credentials and references

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of Civil Litigation

  • Civil rights experience

  • Solid understanding of administrative law

  • Civil litigation experience highly desired

  • Foundational knowledge in Civil Litigation Law Firm

  • Licensed attorney with 2+ years of experience

  • Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
