Our client, a dynamic/ midsize law firm located in Boulder, Colorado is looking for a 4 plus years family law paralegal to support their very busy practice. Their attorneys and staff work in a collaborative environment to provide our clients the best solution to their legal needs. We are looking for a team player to join the family law group as a paralegal. The Family Law Paralegal will be responsible for the following duties; Preparing, organizing, and drafting legal documents; Creating and editing documents, such as motions, pleadings, disclosures, depositions, and other litigation documents; Taking cases from initial contact through trial preparation and completion; Filing documents with courts and other required parties; Conducting research and compiling file and case information; Reviewing and organizing documents; Assisting attorneys with organizing meetings with witnesses and legal experts; Organizing, reviewing, and managing all case documents and deadlines; Maintaining and updating client electronic files and documents; Managing all case deadlines and necessary calendar appointments; And drafting and managing correspondence for attorneys. 4+ years’ experience as a family law paralegal or related litigation paralegal experience is required. The Family Law Paralegal should have excellent research, attention to detail, writing, editing, and proof-reading skills. An Associates Degree and or a Paralegal Certificate would be highly preferred for this position! 3+ years of relevant litigation family law paralegal experience
