Description
Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the mining industry to find a Staff Accountant. This is a full time, permanent position in Boulder, CO. It is in office 4 days per week, and is paying up to $80k. Additional information and job requirements are below. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain the integrity of financial data
• Process and record invoices and payments
• Manage customer and vendor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections
• Monitor and review expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Assist in budget preparation and expense forecasting
• Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits
• Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations.
Requirements
Requirements:
Degree in accounting or finance or business (accounting preferred)
1 year experience, ideally as a GL staff
Might consider straight public
Will likely NOT consider green grad with 0 experience
ERP usage, highly preferred on NetSuite
Up & comer, wants to learn and grow
Lives within 25 miles of Boulder & can work in office 4 days per week.
