Description
Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will file federal and state tax returns and work with financial and income tax statements, ensuring they comply with tax laws. Major responsibilities
Preparation and review of tax returns in a timely and efficient manner
Professional management of compliance, planning and consulting for clients via effective client communication and interpretation of financial records
Monitor client compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations
Manage the company's tax database and put together tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports
Recognize ways to improve profits and tax savings
Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
CPA or EA highly preferred
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
3+ years of public tax
Excellent organizational skills
