Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Boynton Beach, Florida

The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

  • Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

  • Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

  • Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

  • Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

  • Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

  • Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

  • Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

  • Perform full-cycle A/P

    Requirements - Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

  • Hands-on experience with Receiving Payments

  • Computer Data Entry experience preferred

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Proven knowledge of numeric data entry

  • Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Skills in bank reconciliations

  • Data entry experience

  • Experience with Receipt

  • Wide ranging experience with Coding Invoices

  • General familiarity with Typing Data Entry

  • Earlier work involving Code Invoices

  • Prior experience with Aged Receivables

  • Previous experience working with customer invoices

  • Practical knowledge of Approved Invoices

  • Quality experience with Code Invoices

  • Comprehension of Bank Account Reconciliation

  • Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Good understanding of Approved Invoices

  • Well-founded grasp of Perform Data Entry

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
