We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Bradenton, Florida. This role involves overseeing the accounting functions within our organization, including the management of payroll specialists and handling complex payroll queries. The ideal candidate will be adept in various accounting software systems and possess the ability to effectively manage accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of payroll specialists, ensuring efficient workflow and resolving complex payroll queries.

• Handle deferred compensation and manage quarterly/annual payroll taxes.

• Perform journal entries and manage accruals to track company expenses and revenue.

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient financial management.

• Leverage ERP Solutions and Great Plains (GPAC) in performing various accounting functions.

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely and accurate payment and receipt of funds.

• Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Perform billing functions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all client invoices are issued and paid on time.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer credit inquiries.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is a must

• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) is desired

• Superior understanding and execution of Accounting Functions is expected

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Auditing skills are highly valued

• Ability to manage Billing Functions effectively is required
