Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Braintree, Massachusetts
Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative for an opportunity in Braintree, Massachusetts. The role is within the manufacturing industry and will involve offering support to our growing service team. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced environment and will be tasked with various responsibilities, including dealing with incoming calls and handling service line inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and manage customer inquiries through incoming calls and our online portal.
• Generate service tickets and dispatch inspection and repair requests as needed.
• Ensure continuous follow-up on all service tickets to maintain customer satisfaction and prompt resolution.
• Coordinate work orders from initiation to completion, ensuring efficient and effective handling.
• Assist with the clean-up of outdated or expired service tickets, maintaining an organized and up-to-date system.
• Engage in proactive customer follow-up activities to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives, demonstrating a willingness to think beyond conventional methods.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive demeanor over the phone, representing the company in a positive light.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of work orders to meet business objectives. Requirements • Applicant must possess excellent customer service skills, including a strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Proven experience in a customer service role is desirable, preferably in a similar industry.
• Exceptional ability to listen, understand, and respond to customer needs.
• Must be able to handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions.
• Proficient in using customer service software, databases, and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related field would be a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts or flexible working hours if required.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages would be a plus.
