Description We are seeking a Tax Staff - Public to join our team. Located in BRAINTREE, Massachusetts, this role is instrumental in providing comprehensive tax and accounting services. As a Tax Staff - Public, your primary duties will involve preparing and reviewing tax returns for various entities, providing tax planning and advisory services, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying tax compliance issues and maximizing tax-saving opportunities.

• Contribute to year-round tax support activities, including handling extensions, quarterly estimates, and audits.

• Analyze financial statements to determine tax implications and provide informed advice.

• Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries, providing solutions to tax-related issues.

• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance in our services.

• Maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive guidance and support.

• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality service and meet client expectations.

• Stay informed about updates to federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations.

• Utilize accounting software systems and other relevant tools to manage and process client information efficiently. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions

• Solid understanding of Auditing procedures

• Demonstrated knowledge in Compliance regulations and practices

• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting Financial Statements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required

• Professional certification such as CPA is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
