Robert Half Accounts Payable Representative: II (Intermediate) in Brandon, South Dakota

Description We are offering a role for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. This role involves accurately processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring timely payments and compliance with accounting procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Address and resolve varied and complex escalated issues

• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of money due to the company

• Maintain accurate and complete client files/filing and propose improvements to invoicing and collection procedures

• Monitor processing of invoices and ensure timely payments

• Review client documentation to ensure proper systems set up and compliance with correct accounting procedures

• Train and provide guidance to Accounts Receivable/Payable team members, provide assistance as needed

• Maintain a process for tracking receipt of data and source documents

• Monitor and report on changes in payment standards. Requirements • Candidate must possess strong customer service skills.

• Proficiency in various office functions is required.

• Ability to handle documentation tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of procedures related to Accounts Payable (AP).

• Understanding of compliance standards in financial operations.

• Skills in handling invoices and payment processing.

• Ability to maintain quality in all tasks and review documents thoroughly.

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is beneficial.

• Knowledge of finance is essential.

• Experience with workstation support will be an asset.

• Skills in auditing, hiring processes, and vendor management are preferred.

• Understanding of collection processes and ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks.

• Experience in handling deposits and filing tasks is necessary.

• Excellent communication skills are mandatory.

• Ability to deal with stakeholders effectively.

• Proficiency in handling receipts and maintaining client relations.

• Knowledge of 'About Time' software will be beneficial.
